陈德铭，1949年3月生，上海市人。1969年4月参加工作，1974年9月加入中国共产党，研究生学历，经济学硕士，管理学博士。

　　历任江苏省泰州肉联厂副厂长，省商业厅办公室副主任、省食品公司经理，商业厅副厅长，江苏省政府副秘书长、办公厅主任，苏州市委副书记、市长、苏州工业园区党工委书记、中新合作苏州工业园区股份有限公司董事长，江苏省常委、苏州市委书记，陕西省委常委、副省长、省长，国家发改委副主任（正部长级）、商务部部长。

　　中共第十七届中央候补委员，第十二届全国政协常委。

　　2013年4月当选为海峡两岸关系协会会长。中国世界贸易组织研究会名誉会长。

　　Hewasanalternatememberofthe17hCPCCentralCommittee,andamemberoftheStandingCommitteeofthe12thCPPCCNationalCommittee.

　　InApril2013,Mr.Chenwaselectedchairmanofthemainland-basedAssociationforRelationsacrosstheTaiwanStraits(ARATS).
